Chocorua Lake is home to Tamworth Sled & Skijor Race
Mark your calendar for March 4 - 5, 2017 so you don't miss this exciting, once a year, sled dog and skijor race!
The action takes place every year (when there's enough ice) on Chocorua Lake in Tamworth, NH. This year's race will include one & two-dog skijor, 4-dog, 6-dog, 8-dog, open, one-dog junior, one-dog junior, and recreational. Competitors registering as "sportsman" will receive no ISDRA points and not have a stake in the purse. Lake Chocorua is the site of the oldest continuous sled dog race in the Northeast. Locals and visitors alike, line the course to cheer on their favorite teams. There are GREAT photo opportunities before, during and after the race. Lake Chocorua with Mt Chocorua in the background is one of the most photogenic and photographed spots in the Mount Washington Valley! Teena@FourSeasonsLodge.com 603.662.5391 |
